While waiting to track more vocals at the studio, I was using my down time to search the web for Beep Beep pics and found this wonderful image of Eric Ray playing his heart out at Exit In (Nashville, TN) on 10.25.2004. I located the image in Flickr, and was tickled by the caption beneath it. It read, “insane and not good band”. Isn’t it beautiful ironic that one of my favorite live images of Eric Ray was taken by a person adversely affected by our live performance. Beep Beep has so much love to give the world!

I recently found a DVD disk containing images from our tour with TV on The Radio and The Faint. Sadly, nobody in Beep Beep had a camera on this tour, but these pics were taken by Jacob (of The Faint) while we trekked through Europe and the United States.
Jacob took hundreds of pics on this tour, but most of them were of himself and the Faint stage set up in every venue. I am not kidding.

I am feeling giddy because Beep Beep is tightening things up to go and record 23 songs (we added another one). That is a lot of material to wrangle and it’s been overwhelming, but after last practice we were all very pleased with the progress being made.
Please check out our myspace page and listen to an unreleased Beep Beep track entitled “Little Baby”. Some of you may be familiar with this piece of music because it was played during parts of our Business Casual tour. The track was recorded in 2005 in Joel’s house along with another track that is being partially revamped in the studio this October.
Eric Ray will be moderating our myspace page because I was too neglectful, and he only had a dial-up connection until last week.

I know. I know. We have been saying we are going to record for a long time, but now it’s for real.
Beep Beep has officially booked time to record beginning 10-16-2007. We have whittled our selection to 22 hits.
I would love to talk about how excited Eric and I are about this new material, but it’s better to wait a bit longer and hear the songs for yourself. Just don’t sit on the edge of your chair waiting for Business Casual II. We’ve regressed to other horizons.

Our dear Beep enthusiast Kaveh responded to our request for show posters and Beep Beep inspired artwork. Kaveh created a wonderful custom hoodie with a borrowed/incorporated image from San Francisco artist John Bankston. Eric and I are huge John Bankston fans, and we were fortunate enough to have him create our record cover for “Business Casual”.
Please google Bankston and check out his art because he has been an inspiration for us, especially some of our not-yet-released material.
To view show Posters and Beep Beep inspired artwork, go to the “Peek” page.

Beep Beep has been hard at work creating material for a new record. Our lineup has changed a bit since Business Casual, and I am pleased to announce two new members. AJ Mogis will be taking Joel Petersen’s place on bass and Ben Armstrong has replaced Mike Sweeney on drums.
As of today, we have approximately 32 tracks that are being worked out for the studio. Thank you for being patient with us. We are very excited to share our new material as soon as possible!
